Minutes and moments

ATime For Now

a time to cheer, a time to cry,
a time to live, a time to die,
a time to sleep, a time to wake,
a time for real, a time for fake,

a time for truth, a time to lie,
a time to laugh, a time to sigh,
a time to stand, a time to fall,
a time for one, a time for all,

a time for love, a time for hate,
a time to run, a time to wait,
a time to stay, a time to flee,
a time for you, a time for me.

~ Arik Fletcher ~

Yesterday, Tomorrow and Today

At lonesome times ~~ memories rewind,
To thoughts our mind can't leave behind;
The cheers, the laughter, the troubles, the joy,
With unfading fond ~~ nothing can destroy.

And when promises illuminate our days and nights,
Because of the apparent may and mights;
Excitement covers distances ~~ it conquers heights,
Even when the future's uncertain on what it decides.

But of all the times,
Whether now's honey or limes;
Nothing compares to the present,
For time's fair ~~ it's adamant.

Getting addicted to songs from Grown Ups..

Hand-in-Hand

With only a picture and a song,
My fond has not wither;
For that I long too long,
That smile you had forever.

Strolling and rolling on the sand,
At the finish line ~~ cheering me till the end;
And,
We're each other's fan.

Going hand-in-hand,
Taking me to be your man;
For you I will ~~ no matter where and when,
I'll do all I can.

Being an ideal pair,
Never to be in despair;
Someone who reciprocate my care,
Lighten all burden I bare.

To share the thick and thins,
Be with me forevcr;
Through ups, downs and in-betweens,
And count on each other.

Sharing an ice-cream ~~ being who we are,
Our seashells in a jar;
Under the midnight star,
You told me we'll soon be far.

Your touch evokes my hearbeat,
Your whisper so soft it blows me off;
With your peepers you plead,
My heart is capsized, my feelings dissolve.

Till now ~~ I still believe,
You'll be back;
You wouldn't just leave,
Turning me behind your back.

It's a poem i wrote some time back, tell me what you think, really appreciate the feedback.

Silent Night

The sunset's its prelude,
In the atmosphere lies a silent flute;
Then the dark begins its sonata,
Full of mystery... the appearing twinklers are.

The moon may be shy,
Even when birds hardly fly;
Her mood and looks vary,
By how she exposes her beauty.

The rhythm's slow ~~ the night's sleepy,
The breeze sweeps gingerly;
The stars shilly-shally,
Its the crickets shift to chirp ~~ whether free or busy.

It then summons the night shadow,
Wherever we go;
He will follow,
Not a friend nor a foe.

Just a glimmer,
Just a shimmer;
Only moonlight,
Its the Night.

Thoughts of New Year

We will open the book.  Its pages are blank.  We are going to put words on them ourselves.  The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.

New Year’s Reflections

Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.

Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives.

And when I/we ponder those who do,
I/we immediately think of you.

Thanks for being one of the reasons I'll/We'll have a Happy New Year!

As for me, I hope that all we've been through have been filled with good lessons and joy. And that all that awaits us will be filled with bright promises and success. May our expansion be filled with more companions, deeper understandings, best of health and luck. All the best to you and yours.Cheers, to a brand new year.
